13 Reasons Why is one of those series that lingers in your mind for a while after it ends, at least that happened to me. All four seasons are good; the first two are slightly better than the last two. Added together, so as a whole it makes a good series, in my opinion. It all starts with Hannah Baker's suicide and throughout the show many topics come up that matter. I think the strength of the series is in its approach to these topics: keep it simple, make it real and let it come in hard. What also contributes is that what happens in these episodes is not that far from reality. Of course things are exaggerated - it's a TV series, not a documentary - but still a lot of it is not. I like this series from episode one to the very emotional last episode. Highly recommended. It may not be for everyone, but as always: to each his own.
