I finished this cos I was hoping this show would be something special like you know when you were back at a school or maybe go to the office and talk about a show l hoped that this could/would be it. It wasn’t. The big thing I found with this show is its writing and many shows face this problem of filling episodes with bullshit drama that doesn’t feel natural to the circumstances that face our characters. The finale was a great example of teasing us a relationship we know works but characters just not revealing or talking about their issues just going with the flow and I know it’s supposed to mirror real life but there’s no progression to the series and I felt in the exact same place as where I started the season and I wasted my time. The cast is exquisite with Antonia Thomas (whom drew me to the show because of Love sick, seek that out) whose warmth and charm just purveys every single frame of this show. Craig Roberts is an actor I’ve been following intensely as well producing great work in front of and behind the scenes and here is the perfect counter balance to Thomas but if there was a season 2 I’d give it the first episode and if it’s more of the same then I’m out.
