"To this house, our family is like an unfinished meal." The characterization of the house as this tactical beast that picks them off with ghosts not only comes in a perfect scene but also just makes every horror scene in the show so much better AND that isn't even the best scene of the episode. Somehow the best episode of the show so far, even though it's the shortest. Theo's big scene was fucking incredible, legitimately one of the best acted scenes I've ever seen and paid off emotional investment very well. Hugh and Steven's talk in the car was also so great, I don't want to say the part that stood out to me because this is a spoiler free review but in general it had a good line that was such an awesome reveal. Also contains the best jumpscare I've ever seen which was cool. The ending of this episode was so shocking I really hope the ending doesn't mean what I think it means. Cruel that we didn't pick up from last episode's cliffhanger though. 10/10
