After we were surprised by the appearance of John Locke's father on the island in the episode "The Man From Tallahassee", in this episode we were finally given a follow-up story on how Locke's father arrived on this island and what Locke will do to his father. Therein lies the big surprise of this episode. "The Brig" did focus on John Locke by giving him flashbacks that this time were only inside the island (like in the "Exposé", but that episode still shows the story outside the island too) and we could see how Locke seems to have learned a lot from Ben about manipulation and mind games that he did this time to Sawyer. Sawyer was the one who shines the brightest in this episode. Because after a long search, Sawyer finally found the man who "destroyed and killed" his parents, THE REAL SAWYER. I was really SATISFIED to see Sawyer finally managed to fulfill his revenge and kill the man who was so cruel and annoying.
