the first half is so much better than the second half... the pacing towards the end felt so haphazard and that last 10 minutes felt so out of nowhere and there was no real tension building leading up to it. feels like the episode needed to be a bit longer or better paced. also if i have to see another major studio release a big budget product in which a character says "it's cinema" someone is getting strangled. that being said i really enjoyed the character writing, directing, and old 70s noir detective feel of the first half enough for me to say this was a quality episode. and i enjoyed seeing loki show off more of his villanous side.
