Oof. It used about every pilot cliche in the book and made it painfully obvious that the show isn’t willing to do the work to get fans on its side. This could have been really good but falls into the pits of the procedural abyss and feels trite and contrived. The least they could have done was not assume the audience has a cumulative IQ of 40. A good pilot episode should leave you wanting more and fast, not leave you feeling like you’re tired of seeing this same show over and over again.
