HOW DO I REVIEW THIS EPISODE HELP (I think I’m only going to write down all my thoughts in list form, so get ready for what is about to be my longest review yet because I have so much to say and even those words aren’t going to be enough I fear. Nevertheless, spoilers ahead!!!) - Fringe!!! This episode definitely inspired some storylines and incidents of the show Fringe (This truly means everything to me because Fringe is my second favorite show right after Stranger Things, and everyone I know knows how much that show means to me. There are so many parallels between this episode and Fringe. It’s like a summary of the whole show in a sense, and I swear it makes sense if you’ve seen both, but I won’t give away too much because I don’t want to spoil Fringe for my mutuals here because I’ve been convincing some of them to watch it for a while now lol or any other person for that matter who hasn’t seen the show but wants to one day) - This episode is my multiverse of madness like Fringe was 🙈 - Hermes deciding not to press that button is honestly and single-handedly the funniest moment of the entire series so far (he literally had the best one-liner ever created actually) - I love how Fry and Leela are together AND endgame in every universe. They’re just meant to be 😭❤️ (Speaking of- FREELA FROM UNIVERSE A, PLEASE GET TOGETHER ALREADY WTF?! JUST LOOK AT YOUR DOPPELGÄNGERS ENDING UP TOGETHER!!!) I’m aware that I complain about them not being together every episode, but I can’t help it, okay? - Bender is evil, right? But when he met his doppelgänger, the two Benders became the softest characters omg- (idk if I phrased this correctly but whatever) - And Zoidberg… he’s literally the purest character, right? But he became evil when he met HIS doppelgänger (as did the other Zoidberg). I can’t get over this lmao idk why I felt like pointing it out but it’s so interesting and I feel like it has a lot of potential implications if it were further pursued. - Lastly, I couldn’t stop freaking out during this episode. It’s definitely and officially my favorite episode of the entire series!! I feel like writing a book now because even this review is not enough. I’m just too happy right now and I wanna share more of my thoughts in depth about this (spoilers and all)
