I am stunned. Top 15 episode of all time, maybe higher. One of the most flawlessly written character episodes ever, the way this completely changes Kavanaugh is just insane. Forest Whitaker’s performance here is awe-inspiring and should have won him an Emmy. The decision to have this episode follow Kavanaugh and nobody else was brilliant, and being put into his shoes as issues keep piling up on him makes this episode so intense and erratic. As corny as it might sound I felt like I was going crazy with him. I was practically sweating during most of this episode, and I doubt this is a common reaction but Kavanaugh’s scene towards the end with his wife had me tearing up. *SPOILERS BELOW* Then came the ending sequence which was just fucking incredible, seeing Kavanaugh turn around at the camera and sprint out of the room had my blood flowing. That shot of him pointing at Vic 😩 blew past my expectations. “𝐘𝐎𝐔! 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐄!” That fucking scene jesus christ. Kavanaugh chasing Lem through the Barn and yelling at everybody was pure chaos and a masterful sequence. Seeing Lem in the cage broke my heart man. I was expecting Postpartum to be my favorite episode of this season, but idk if it’s going to be able to top this
