TW: mentions of abuse, slurs and suicide.
Wtfock has had a lot of problems, many of them reaching their peak in s3, where things like gay-bashing, slurs and near-suicide sequences were used as shock-value without trigger warnings or anything, when skam is quite known for tackling everything thoughtfully and healthily. Also, (it’s been a while since I last watched it, so details might be off) Milan is quite terrible. He tries outing by kissing a 15 y/o closeted Robbe in front of all his friends, despite him being an Eskild - the “””gay guru”” who is supposed to know how to cleverly handle tricky things like that. Then, in s3, Robbe has to apologize for rejecting and using a slur (which, yes, he should) but Milan never apologizes for trying to out a literal child, when Milan is an adult. Milan also kind of assualts Senne, when laying next to him and “tricking” (is a strong word) him into kissing and cuddling him, Senne thinking it’s Zoë.
When I watched it, I enjoyed it, but I don’t in any way want it associated with the perfection that is SKAM.
