Um so this show got cancelled. Expected after the underwhelming ratings of season one, and then the ratings got worse for season two, with no awards to go with it. HBO handled the show terribly, and it’s probably the first big misfire for the network for cancelling this incredible show. With Zaslav at the helm for HBO, this is bound to not be the final misfire for HBO in the next few years. We’re in for the long haul. Shout out to Adam McKay for starting this show, Max Borenstein carrying it on, the incredible casting and finding new gems like Quincy Isaiah as Magic, and Solomon Hughes as Kareem. What we got in just two seasons was fantastic, but where it ended definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.
