A clever comedy with so much to say. The racial politics of Atlanta have been discussed to death, and for good reason, it’s a really profound statement! The more quiet moments here, such as the episode following Van and Jayde, are so well written and pack lots of social commentary in its short runtime. But it’s also hysterically funny at times. The format breaking episode with Paper Boi on a talk show is top tier, especially with the fake adverts, and the more traditionally presented episodes are quality too, especially the one in the club.
