ummmmm ok did i finish this? yes. did i enjoy myself? i guess. were there problems that i couldn’t get over? absolutely! i feel like i sound like a broken record when i say this show is cringy…but man some of this dialogue is abysmal!! almost all problems are resolved within an episode, except for the mind numbingly painful love triangle that honestly doesn’t seem to be having the impact it needs to. personally, the only saving grace is the shows soundtrack, but even then, it almost feels unearned? and most of the time the songs are just lazily mixed into a scene, with the soul intention of shocking viewers. i can appreciate the show for what it is; it’s fun, modern, and does a great job of cultivating a particular vibe while knowing its audience. but, it’s just not my cup of tea.
