i’ve said it once and i’ll say it again but this show is at its best when it uses its inherent weirdness and strikes the perfect balance between comedy and horror. personal highlights: - scully looks SO GOOD this entire episode, i’m going feral - mulder can’t even make it two days without talking to scully - "marry me." - mulder pretending to have construction out his window by pouncing a basketball on his table??? he’s so unchecked without scully around it’s unreal - "oh god, i mean, it’s amazing what i can accomplish without incessant meddling or questioning into everything i do. it’s just…" *gets interrupted by pencils dropping down on him*
