“ I see you’re in one piece” Me: sigh…. THE ONE PIECE! THE ONE PIECE IS REAL! Yeah this is literally Star Wars rebels season 5, the title isn’t fooling anyone. I thought this was perfectly fine… so I guess that’s a win for the show? Technically it feels like a step up from the previous shows, however it doesn’t have a patch on andor. The story direction is perfectly fine I suppose. To be honest my main issue is that once again not a lot happens. These shows feel far too long and waste way too much time. This show is going to reintroduce thrawn and set him up as the heir to the empire, explore ahsoka in depth and even include anakin skywalker. This does none of that. I like all the casting but I think they haven’t been able to do very much. I’m also not a fan of Sabine. Never have been, and looks like I never will be. Like everyone else though. The action was alright, though the sabre movement is still lacking the fluidity of the prequels. In general it’s a solid epsiode of television that’s way better than mando and boba fett, but it’s still far from perfect. Hopefully this show is a slow burner.
