another incredible season
so much to take away from it, vastly less action than its predecessor, instead taking time to develop characters in a very thoughtful and rewarding manner.
a wide array of new characters that all played their parts brilliantly, and had their own unique stories whilst providing some incredible content. einar and thorfinns relationship is very well established and brings a new dynamic to the show that it really benefits from. canute looks badass compared to the princess twink he was in s1.
this seasons lack of action made it so more rewarding when we did see some, not to mention some of combat scenes were amazingly animated and looked much more brutal and real than the first season.
furthermore the show did an excellent job of developing thorfinn and have him mature into the man he became, and by not choosing to go the easy route and have endless combat, we got some very impactful moments which made the thorfinn in season one seem a completely different person to the one we know now
there is so much positives to take away from this season and i could go on and on, but instead ill patiently bide my time for season 3
(hopefully it wont be another lifetimes wait, but even if it is. god knows it will be worth it)
