Season 1 of Batman The Animated Series is pretty good. Don’t get me wrong it has some standout episodes and performances but there’s also some problems. The biggest problem being the show’s formula. I skipped a handful of episodes because they were not appealing to me. The show itself is episodic, not serialized. So there isn’t any significant developments that are necessary to understand later episodes. So if an episode didn’t sound interesting and had a bad review score, I didn’t watch it and that happened for at least 25 episodes this season. The episodes I did watch are great but I can’t give this show a rating because of I didn’t watch the whole season.
