Aight. I retract my previous statement on my SFU S5 review. I once again truly believe this'll never be topped. This season has no right to be written by actual human beings. I refuse to believe it. School arc is easily arguably the best plotline to be put to television. Or at least my favorite. Showed how corrupt the school system really is and how it has solved 0 problems that Baltimore have. Colvin and Prez's characters are absolutely amazing. Only ones who care and are trying and trying to help these kids. The story of the kids is the most compelling oat. How realistic it was is just mad. Bubs storyline was also amazing. The political messages were easily at it's most engaging and interesting phase. "Juking the stats." A real wake up call on how corrupt and incompetent the police really are. How they failed Bubs , how they kept shutting down Lester and Bunk from solving any murders just because they wanted to keep their numbers low. So much to talk about. I plan on doing a more in depth review on TikTok if any of yall are interested. I got a lot more to talk about than this trust me lmao. By far and beyond the most consistent season of television ever. I gave only four 4.5s. The rest of them are 5/5 with ease. Easily the best themes covered ever. Such an important season. I'm so baffled at how they didn't get an Emmy for this. Amazing. Best season of all time. I mean it this time that nothing will top it 😭😭.
