This might be the most overlooked and underrated Show on TV. I dont know how this Show is not popular and gets barely even talked about because its seriously the greatest Overall Experience Ive ever had with a TV Show. This is a masterpiece from start to finish. This is also the most Emotional Show Ive ever had the pleasure of watching. But while some maybe think this Show only beautifully portrays dark themes like Grief, Loss and anxiety I promise you it doesnt. This is a Show about love, about humanity, about faith and finding meaning in Life. This Show has everything I want from a Show. The Leftovers gets constantly better with every season and is consistently amazing in terms of pretty much Everything. You could argue that in s1 the Production and sometimes the Pacing may feel a bit off but those are just minor Complains that didnt affect my watch at all. As I said Everything I want from a Show is given. The Show offers a great variety of interesting Characters, each one of them with different struggels, morals and Motivations. Especially three stand out here. Kevin Garvey is one of the most underrated Protagonists on TV, while both Nora Durst (#1 female Character in TV) and Matt Jamison are outstanding deuteragonists. And of course not just the Writers (who did a fantastic job throughout the entire show) make Characters great but the Actor himself needs to put his heart into this role to make the Character feel alive. And I can confirm that especially the main Actors in Justin Theroux and Carrie Coon gave Performances that you rarely see in Television. But the Show doesnt just offer incredible Acting and Character work. The Leftovers has some of the best Symbolism, Cinematography and Parallels that Ive ever seen. Every Single shot in this Show just looks like its a painting which is impressive considering the low Budget the Show makers had to work with. Also this Show has some of the best Music in all of Media, the Music plays such an important role in the Leftovers and Max Richer composed one of the most beautiful OST's in TV. Everyone who has not watched this yet, Im begging you please watch this Show. It offers some of the highest Peaks in TV and constantly keeps the viewer interested in the Characters and Plot.
