The first season introduced and summarized the show very well. The drama presented from all sorts of pressures both related to Tony's psyche and those related to the internal politics of the mafia. The struggle between the two sides of his life and the drama within is very well written with interesting character development and narrative delivery. This season's arch we will look at the dangers that come from within Tony's crew and family. Overall, a very enjoyable first season, glad I finally got to watching The Sopranos. Can't wait to see season 2.
