This show became my hyperfixation in 2012. Started watching it for he who shall no longer be named, but really fell in love with the cast as a whole. Doug Penhall, my beloved. Loved Holly Robinson Peete and it was the first thing I'd ever seen Steven Williams in. Any time he pops up in something, I'm like, "That's Captain Fuller!" And I can't forget Blowfish, who still makes me chuckle when I think about him.
I haven't watched the show in years (though my parents truly Went Through It to find me a boxset of all 5 seasons back then), and I know it's definitely got that cheesy late 80s-early 90s thing going on, but it makes it endearing. Kind of like a younger precursor to the original Law & Order, which had moments of that same cheesiness that makes you cringe a little bit now.
I'd like to go back and watch it again sometime, but I fear it'll end up being one of those shows that I remember fondly from when I was younger but probably won't take the time to rewatch.
Oh, and an intro I still know all the words to 😊
