it's almost hilarious to think that this started as nothing more than a slightly above average kids show and evolved into one of the most artistically and thematically beautiful shows of the streaming era. it also helps taht this season's stakes ramp up its pacing and force it to trim its own fat so every single moment carries a heavy emotional weight. all of it builds to a finale that's perfect in every single way; emotionally satisfying, visually stunning, and compelling - although that's not to say the rst of it isn't flawless as well. literally netflix's greatest original show.
