Not going to lie. I started watching this thinking it was a wlw vampire love story. It was, but not the romantic kind at least. I did enjoy it, it's a good anime to watch when you want something sort and noncommittal. It did end on a sad note though (in my opinion). I think it would have been even a greater anime if it was a bit longer and the story and characters were more fleshed out. I feel like everyone kind of got a bad ending but the story itself is set in a really sad world so I'm not surprised by it.
