Wow... Can't believe I just discovered my favorite show ever, and it will be tough to love more another show, even if I haven't watched Sopranos or Breaking Bad or The Wire yet.
It was so theatrical but yet so cinematic, and I guess this is what I love the most. It proves that you don't need to be realistic to talk about reality. This is kitsch but it seems even more realistic, there is a lot of humour but it is even more tragic and - my lord- so so devastating. The scenario and dialogues are perfect, the direction is incredible, and this show is gold for the actors. They have so much to play, and you see they had so much fun, and they are just amazing, all of them.
This show is a long descent into despair and disease, a bleak vision of humanity and America (I feel so happy to live in France, haha, in reality France isn't so good now but French directors just don't have enough courage to create stories that disruptive and provocative). The end is way more positive, and it could have been disappointing, but optimism and activism are a good way to bring back hope in this story and this is a good end.
(We know that Trump came after and that's sad, but there is still hope and life)
