High 8/10
The acting showcased here is brilliant, which is to be expected when you have not only Sean Bean but Stephen Graham in the two lead roles. Writing can match their abilities too, and in turn a brilliant and very touching season of television is produced. I was genuinely emotionally invested in the storylines and what is to happen next, instead of just having this be on in the background or something. Somewhat changed my views on what prison life is like. The short amount of episodes may seem like an issue at first but this is in no way a problem, they manage to pack so much content into only three episodes and honestly I wouldn't want there to be anymore.
Just a brilliant season of TV
