There are few so elated by their hobbies the way that Andrew Smyth is. Fantastic baker and person that I enjoyed thoroughly in GBBO, but I only stumbled onto his personal series this year! I love the idea of a fully partnered show and the people they recruited to participate were true gems. There was chemistry from the first moments with Taylor and Cindy (I kept yelling “kiss already”, but alas, they are not in fact dating irl). For everybody who made it onto the second half, they really worked as teams and improved upon their skills as the season progressed and it was delightful to watch. It was a good panel of judges with provoking commentary. Sweet, yet nit picky enough to be challenging and inspiring. Understandably, Andrew has many things in his agenda, but I would love to see this picked back up!
