I can’t believe I thought Hector was just some old guy with a bell. The fact that his full name rhymes with wanker makes so much more sense after Hermanos. 

Anyways, I can’t say I quite get the hype behind the 4th season of Breaking Bad. The first half is really slow and there’s no thrilling episodes in it like there were in season 2. However, If this season only had the last 7 episodes in it, it would maybe be the best season I’ve ever seen 

With events more electrifying than crystal meth and pacing good enough to blow your face off(sorry about that joke Gus), the final seven episodes ramp up the intensity culminating in the last 4 episodes which are all increasingly brilliant masterpieces. 

One other thing about this show is that it’s not only able to kill off its characters(I’m looking at you stranger things) but it does it in a way that ties into the plot, character development and backstory allowing you to never forget about them. 
Gus’ brutal death alone caused me to completely rethink how much of this show I should be watching in such a short period of time so I’m maybe going to take a break. 

I’m still really looking forward to season 5 my expectations for it are huge but I’m hoping it will deliver a really satisfying villain arc. Also interested to see how the poem Ozymandias will tie in to the themes of the episode.
