I don’t care. It starts off being great, really good at worst, and then ends with maybe the best five episode streak in a comedy series ever. And that’s without mentioning that it’s a five part story that doesn’t once overstay its welcome. I’d assumed that Mac Finds His Pride would be as emotional as this show could get, but after the emotions presented in Episode 6 (through a comedic lens) and then the genuine ones in Episode 8 that meant so much to me personally I have to say that this show has indeed still got it. Going off of what is easily it’s worst season to one of its best (even if the majority don’t agree with me and only really love the Ireland arc) is such a U-turn—and Season 16 is shaping up to be brilliant so far, too. They’ve been renewed up to Season 18, and my God if any show has proven its worth even more than that then it’s this one. Having something be this consistently hilarious whilst adding in emotional beats like the ones here every so often, I really don’t want it to ever end.
