It's an okay start to Shadow's story. I haven't read the book but it's not a problem. It's Cinematically pleasing. But throughout the season it felt like they were not sure with where to go with the story, introducing characters in every episode but no direction whatsoever. The main character really isn't interesting, something about him just hasn't clicked. Top Characters 1.Ian Mcshane (Mr Wednesday) carried this season, he is great in this. 2.Orlando Jones' (Mr Nancy) character only appearing in two episodes was a let down, as he is amazing whenever he's on screen. 3/5
