The Pacific is hopeless yet hopeful, devastating yet beautiful. This is going to stay with me forever. It's the pinnacle of anti-war storytelling. While Band Of Brothers is about the sheer camaraderie and bravery in combat, The Pacific is a poetic examination of psychological deterioration of combat. I prefer this one a little bit more than BOB. Loved every second of it... For anyone planning to watch this one I would advice go slow, don't binge just 1ep/day, I guarantee you it will make you miserable, the good kind one
