With all the praise this show is getting, you bet my ass I watched this show with high expectations. Here are some of my thoughts (spoilers):


- The season is very uneven. The outstanding episodes really stands out (mostly pre-merge ft. phoebe's entire run) but a lot of it are just good at the very best. Standouts for me are Phoebe, Craig, JL, Kate and Brooke despite being voted out early on.

-The disparity in the quality of players is very noticeable.   Only a handful of them are worth watching. Although i like how most of them are very attractive (Take note Survivor US). We need more eye candies who are also amazing players.

-There's a potential for Jonathan to be a great host but he really needs to improve his line of questioning in tribal councils. He has this tendency to focus on certain players which really throws off their game. He needs to let the players tell what they want/not want to tell. 

-I love the challenges. It's so nice seeing the old ones after Survivor US ditched them.

-Unfortunatelt, this is a let down and does not deliver to the quality I hoped for. I'll still give the next seasons a shot but I know now to tamper my expectations.
