 A small scene I think is constantly overlooked when talking about each character’s personalities is when Mike first walks into Walt’s house. 

Mike’s tough guy demeanor immediately breaking down once he sees Holly- knowing that he can relate to Walt with his time with Kaylee. Mike seems friendly and warm- something we rarely see away from his family. He seems happy to be able to tell Walt about Kaylee and wants to form a bond.

Walt, though, immediately ends this- trying to assert dominance over Mike when he puts himself between Mike and Holly. Mike’s annoyed groan and eye roll to this response is the start of Mike’s distaste for Walt. I think Mike would have been loyal and supportive to the end had Walt connected with him about Kaylee. It’s a very small scene but I love how much this just encompasses their relationship even though it is so short.
