liked it more than i expected i would. quirky white girl grew on me and watching sophia's journey from an ebay store to her own startup was entertaining. playlist was also great as well as beautiful cinematography and shots littered throughout the episodes, matching the ambiance where you could really feel what sophia felt during core scenes. Even though it was cancelled after its first season it was perfectly wrapped up and felt satisfactory with its ending. shame Nasty Gal ended up being sold. a bit mindboggling to think how new the whole flipping concept was years ago and how saturated the depop markets been with other "girlbosses", following the footsteps of their pioneer in revamping thrifted pieces and reselling it for way more than how much a brandy melville resold as a "twilight bella swan" tee is. also had a twinge of disdain knowing that the popularisation of "girlboss" could slightly be contributed to the novel based on sophia. overall a good and solid watch for casual day to day viewing. short, quick and easy with a digestable and adjustable timeframe to keep up within your own pace
