Alright, storytime. I watched this show when It first came out, I think I enjoyed it then. After that I just completely forgot about it's existence until about a week ago. I saw it and thought "I've watched this before, did I like it? I think I did" and I saw there was a "new" season so I thought fuck it and gave both seasons a watch and about half-way through watching season 2 I realised, "Holy shit, I've actually watched this before", I started remembering episodes from season 2 but I could only remember like half of them so, yeah. I had actually watched both seasons before I just completely forgot about them. The show itself is... fine. to be honest I don't really like sitcoms in the first place but I do like Marlon Wayans, who is easily the best part and also only funny character in this show. The comedy is all very once-note, with it either being referential comedy or just jokes about how they're all black. like 90% of the jokes are just, "We're black so this..." or "I'm black and you're not so this...", it get's very repetitive. All the other cast members are also just not funny, but nothing they do or say is downright cringe or unwatchable, it just kinda gave me no reaction. Again Marlon is really the only entertaining one here, just watching him running around being a moron is decently amusing. Also has some surprisingly heartfelt moments so that's nice. I dunno this is a neat show to watch if you like Marlon Wayans and really got nothing better to put on. I just had this on in the background while I did other stuff, I recommend you do the same.
