Had Bill Hader firing from all cylinders, directing all episodes with purpose and playfulness, yet ultimately missing that fatal kill shot. But the time jump was NOT the problem. On the contrary, I think that that added another layer to the characters and relationship of Barry and Sally. What it failed to do was deliver that satisfying comeuppance every anti-hero should get in the end. That said, I'm still giving the season props for the bravery and boldness of its creative choices.
