7.9/10 A season that started strong in its first half, takes a dramatic change that ultimately ruined the rest of the season, and maybe the entirety of character arcs for certain characters depending on your viewpoint. The first half was SO GOOD, intense and thrilling with dark fitting comedy. And outstanding acting performances. 4x1-4x4 were so fun to watch and I was considering this show to be one of the most enjoyable TV shows I’ve ever watched. It’s disappointing that the change in tone that 4x5-4x8 has doesn’t have a satisfying conclusion. It was extremely strange, and I have no clue why Bill Hader decided to take this route. The series finale I am still very contrived on. So much happened, but does it feel earned? It’s hard to put my thoughts into words for this finale. Decide for yourself though. 4x4 was also one of the best episodes of the series. Had to point it out.
