It took me a minute to enjoy this when I accepted it's a zany and silly show compared to the x files, but once I did I had so much fun watching it. They did this show dirty by not letting it grow into its own thing outside the shadow of the x files :( I would recommend this, it's a lot of fun. There were definitely moments of 00s energy of horny nerds and sparse women characters, but it wasn't as dated as I feared (after the first couple eps).
