Ok i get the hype, Tied with sopranos s6 as my top 3 season oat

This season man... I dont even know what to say just a masterpiece of a season man. 
Dexter is such a peak character and this was definetly his best season, him trying to balance being a father, husband, blood spatter analyst and serial killer is so fun and intense to watch. He is also up against his mist dangerous enemy yet - The Trinity killer who is also a peak character and a top 3 maybe top 2 antag in TV, John Lithgow deserved that emmy. The suspense is on antoher level this season especially in the 2nd half where everything goes crazy.   "Dex takes a holiday" (4x4) was the episode where I realised that this season deserved the hype, Episode 9 "Hungry man" and episode 11 "hello, Dexter Morgan" Are both top 30 episodes of all time while episode 12 "The getaway" is top 5. This was also easily the ending where Dexter lost the most, I did not expect them to kill of Rita and the way it was done was heartbreaking. Dexter was ready to leave "His dark passanger" behind just for him to come home and see her dead. These last 4 seasons have really been so peak and i dont want them to end. But idk how they are gonna continue this show without Rita, she was the 2nd most important charcter of the show imo and I dont think Dexters character will be as good as he is right now without her.
