buffy asking cordelia to drive her home, and cordelia immediately saying yes, because she sees how broken buffy looks 😭 and, yeah, i freaking hate the council, and i don't understand the point of the test. it would either kill the slayer or kill the trust between the slayer and her watcher, so what's the point exactly? the test doesn't even teach the slayer anything, it just gives her a harder time (or kills her). and i did feel bad for giles, because he was forced to basically drug buffy without her knowing, but i also kind of hated that it took him that long to realize that it was a wrong thing to do, i feel like he should've at least talked to the council a bit more and got more information about the whole deal. and, like, how did he think buffy was going to react to it, even if it did all go as planned? she still would've been just as hurt and disappointed. i don't know, i just felt like he could've handled it a little better, from the very beginning.

and what do you mean watchers can't care about their slayer?! i understand keeping it as professional as possible, but she doesn't exactly WORK for him, he takes CARE of her and teaches her things, and how can you form a connection and build trust without caring about people?! this is such bullshit.

by the way, if there's a council and they take things that seriously and hire watchers, which i assume they pay them as well, they should be paying buffy as well. if by their rules she can't have any connections with people and has to spend all her time training or slaying, she needs money!
