Season 1 of clannad is a fairly normal romance story with some interesting supernatural elements mixed in that calls for a good time, with many funny and heartwarming moments. After story, or season 2 however is beautiful. I won’t say too much about the whole season, but i’ll just say i cried 7 episodes in a row watching after story. It’s a wonderfully crafted story that will have you appreciating some of the things you may take for granted, while also teaching you that maybe life isn’t hopeless after all, even through the many hardships you’ll face. Clannad is a wonderful ride from start to finish, and it’s no wonder why it’s so widely praised. Also I promise you’ll get used to the bug eyes within like 3 episodes don’t worry.
