Holy shit. Holyyy fucking shit. This is easily among the greatest seasons I have ever watched. The shift from a comedy to a fucking thriller was just so quick. This is one of the biggest upgrades on a season I have ever seen and S1 was great. 

The theatre stuff is always so full of messages and overall just so entertaining. I love Sally. Her whole background with Sam is just so deep and sad. This show continues to execute symbolism and themes so well. It resembled just how hard it can be for women to stand up to their abuser and just how easy it is to go back. 

Hank continues to be an absolute treasure man. Every moment with him is funny as shit and they couldn't have casted him any better. The comedic relief at the end of 2x8 was something man 😭. Let's talk about the man...Fuches. My word they've set him up to be a fantastic antagonist. Another enjoyable character but he is a sadistic fuck for what he did to Gene. He ruined someone else's life just to get back at Barry. The way they built up their dynamic to that point is really good and it had immense pay-off. Gene is one of my favorite characters in the show it broke my heart that twist.

Lastly , Barry himself. He became even more peak and complex this season. It's amazing to see how much his past in the army and how much killing an innocent guy impacts him..It drives him to act as good as he does in the theatre. His rivalry with Fuches will be so intriguing in S3.

This season was serious. This in my eyes is perfect and easily an S tier season. This is on par with Mr Robot S3 and Breaking Bad S4. Definitely. Might be a hot take. Also 2x8 enters my top 25 episodes ever.
