i was struggling rating this, more than i struggled with season 1. the main ship has way more of a compelling storyline and better chemistry, but also this season dedicated so much to the subplots and… i fear every single subplot was boring to me this season besides Penelope. the subplots only started getting interesting in the *checks notes* last 15 minutes OF THE SEASON FINALE. i didn’t read the books but i have a slight understanding of them and i do assume this was a lot of set up being given to the characters future main seasons, but it doesn’t translate well in the middle of other peoples seasons. it feels like focus is being cut away from the real story for… boring build up for what will be better explored later. but Kate , Anthony and Edwina made this season so worth it, i enjoyed them so much
