Great first season. Look I am amazed at how well they did Tony bro. If he died this season he'd probably still go down as a top 10 character ever bro 😂. Amazingly acted as expected , so much depth , themes , just overall an amazing character. Done all in just 13 episodes. That's incredible. This season also did a FANTASTIC job at creating tension between Tony and his mom. They did so well to set up dynamics and parallels that could be key in later seasons. I see Tony and Carmela becoming a Walter-Skyler relationship through the show. The dynamic setup between him and Junior. Between him and his mom and his two children is just so good. All of that amazing but I do have some complaints. Outside of Tony and his mom the characters are not too interesting. We got a study on Chrissy but he still doesn't really have my attention. The acting outside of Tony and Chrissy was honestly C tier sometimes even terrible. Especially his daughter omg. Not much going as far as the plot which is fine because I like it when S1s focus on building tension for later seasons. The pacing is ok. We didn't need Boca or A Hit is a Hit though.
