This season fluctuated so much it was painful. It is very mid. There’s high highs and super duper low lows. Cid ruins everything and so does Wanda Sykes’ character. Wish Cid would’ve just gotten shot or something. She has no purpose. Crosshair episodes were the best but there’s barely any of them. Best episode of the season didn’t even involve the Batch and it genuinely felt like a Clone Wars sequel episode. Show suffers so much from having 93% filler and 7% quality. I seriously can’t think of a worse way to structure this show. Hopefully season 3 makes this better but I’ve lost hope at this point. SPOILERS Zillow Beast arc was never concluded. Omega is still never explained. The other female clones have no explanation either other than “were sisters.” Creepy Doctor guy has really no point in existing. The Batch have zero character arcs. They have no depth. There was no point to Echo leaving briefly. No episode ever felt like it truly accomplished anything. This season went nowhere and acted as a 16 week long trailer for season 3 that will come out after the next Presidential election probably.
