i read the book over a year ago and was looking forward to this series ever since then and i don't know if it's that increased expectation but overall this felt just slightly underwhelming for me, as if something wasn't fully clicking (it's probably camila's character assassination from the book but if i speak -) the good things were indeed good though and i think this series was perfect for riley keough, she delivered in every aspect of the titular character.
