you know what, although at times i think it stumbled in either development or tone, i do think this really works, and largely thanks to the (particularly supporting) cast. i think either longer length episodes or just a longer episode season might have helped it, especially considering EVERYBODY is dealing with something and it’d be easier to step into the shoes, but i do think the strongest aspect of this show is its sense and theme of empathy. even in just this short time, we do really care for everybody. it’s near impossible not to. Jessica Williams, Lukita Maxwell, Christa Miller, Michael Urie and Luke Tennie, all incredible can’t wait for season 2 because i think it’ll only get better from here
