some things from the book might’ve gotten lost in translation (maybe it was on purpose due to how it was an oral interview and this is showing the *full* truth), but I’m so happy they kept camila’s unwavering thought process of doing what she thinks is right for everyone. thats what made her so unique in the book because, despite how much I love them all, every other character takes a “selfish” route— most of it was necessary/justified; no judgement here. it’s just that her ability to see from an objective perspective regardless of emotional stakes is SO fascinating
