iZombie was one of those shows on CW everyone just gave a miss. Weird name, looked strange, not known actors, why try it? Well, my mom saw the ad while I was watching Arrow and said it looked fun and we should give it a go. It became our thing. A weekly show we were always so excited to watch. A show that didn't get enough episodes and those long hiatuses almost drove us crazy. iZombie had something so special, and it got exactly what it needed and deserved. A perfect story told in the perfect amount of seasons with a beautiful ending. There are so many parallels this show held to real life, and the final seasons were my absolute favourite due to this. The beginning was great too, but iZombie told a real story about hiding and then facing a real epidemic. Sounds familiar... The characters are all brilliant, and they're all focused on and given the screen time and plots they deserve. Oh, and the theme song fucks hard.
