one of the prettiest shows i will ever get to enjoy - cinematography is refined and the music never too generic. some questionable plot direction... morally and some unecessary, while finely executed tropes. god it's a beautiful show. it's a japanese drama that acts more like a high budget filipino rom com without the com so in retrospect it's a k-drama with a slightly grounded anime plot and anime characters, so what it really is is a live action makoto shinkai feature: done to death, but a work of art nonetheless. (/j, if you want a good romance, it's quite worth your time.)
