I haven’t really clicked with any Jason Katims projects post-Friday Night Lights. It’s really solid stuff throughout, I just think without the gimmick of football on top of it - I’m not really here for nonstop touchy, feely, weepy. This show is no exception. The quality is clearly there, it just doesn’t speak to me. I need a little bit *extra* beyond these characters and the feels.
