Shadows House very strong show that starts off a bit slow, but once you start figuring out what's going on, it gets extremely engrossing.
I started to really vibe with the show once I began to understand its goal of commentating on social dynamics, specifically from a class, hierarchical, and economic lens. Having the show be told from the perspectives of what are basically slaves along with their younger masters who also suffer at the hands of the people with the most power is obviously intentional, and very interesting. It seems to be going for the idea of class solidarity, even with those that are above and below you to go against those with real power.
I ended up loving Shadows House by the end of the season, I'm excited to see where this is going to go next. And if there isn't going to be a third season in the future, I'll have to check out the manga. I'm very eager to see what's going to happen next!
